§ 1-8. Severability.

Latest version.

If any portion of this Code or of any ordinance shall be held invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder thereof shall not be affected thereby but shall remain in full force and effect. A finding that any portion of this Code or any ordinance is inapplicable to any person or property or that any portion of this Code or any ordinance is inapplicable in certain circumstances does not affect the applicability of any such portion to other persons or property or in other circumstances.
