§ 7.15. Conduct of candidates for city commission.
Latest version.
No candidate shall promise any money, office, employment, or other thing of value,
to secure his nomination or election, or give anything of value to individual voters
for the purpose of securing their votes. A violation of any of these provisions shall
disqualify such candidate from holding the office, if elected, and the person receiving
the next highest number of votes, observing the foregoing conditions, shall be entitled
to the office.
