§ 9-108. Same—Master or journeyman.
A certificate of competency for masters or journeymen shall be obtained in the following manner:
(1)
Any person required or desiring to be qualified as a master or journeyman shall make an application on a form prescribed by the contractors' examining and mediation board at the office of the sustainable development department. The application shall be retained by the board, together with all supporting papers.
(2)
A fee of twenty dollars ($20.00) shall be paid for the examination for journeyman, and fifty dollars ($50.00) for a master's.
(3)
The secretary of the board shall notify the applicant of the next examination.
(4)
The contractors' examining and mediation board shall prescribe the type of examination of the applicant to show the degree of experience and his knowledge of the particular trade for which the application is being made.
