§ 9-2. Fire district.

(a)

For the purpose of this chapter, the entire territory within the corporate limits of the city is hereby declared to be a fire district.

(b)

All applicable zoning regulations of the city governing materials or types of construction based on land used or location shall be effective within the fire district.

(c)

Any building complying with the requirements of the Florida Building Code, Broward Edition, may be erected or moved into the fire district. No incinerators, however, shall be permitted, except as provided in section 9-3.
