§ 6-31. License required; tags.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person to own, keep, maintain or harbor any dog over the age of six (6) months within the corporate limits of the city without first having obtained therefor a license from a licensed veterinarian, which shall be evidenced by a tag as set forth in this section.

(b)

Every dog licensed in compliance with this section shall wear a tag bearing the name of the county and number of the license issued for such dog for the current year.
