§ 28-166. Definitions.
The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this division, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
Master meter (also known as bulk meter) shall mean an instrument or device used to measure the quantity of water furnished and sold by the city to other municipalities, political subdivisions and privately owned public works under separate agreement approved by the city commission.
Meter shall mean an instrument or device used to measure the quantity of water furnished by the city.
Sprinkling meter shall mean an instrument or device used to measure water furnished by the city for lawn sprinkling or other nonconsumptive uses in which the discharged water is nonpolluted and need not be discharged into the wastewater system.
