§ 28-147. Permit to use water from fire hydrants for purposes other than firefighting.
Permits for the use of water from fire hydrants or plugs for fire protection shall not be granted by the city except in cases where such use is deemed by the public works department to be urgent and other means of obtaining water are not available, but all permits so granted shall be revocable at the pleasure or discretion of the public works department in every instance and without regard or reference to any terms or provisions in such permits to the contrary notwithstanding.
