§ 27-155. Records to be kept by licensee; inspection; reporting of accidents.

  • (a)

    The licensee under this article shall keep a record of the registration number of the motor vehicle so rented, the name, address and the local and permanent address of the person to whom the vehicle is rented, the number of the driver's license of such person, the state or country where such license was issued and the expiration date of such license. Such record shall be kept for a minimum period of not less than four (4) years, and such record shall be open for inspection at any time by any police officer or the personnel of the Department of Transportation and Mobility.

    (b)

    The licensee shall keep a record of all known accidents. The licensee shall report to the police department all accidents involving personal injury or death. The licensee shall also report to the police department damage to vehicles or property over one hundred dollars ($100.00).
