§ 26-189. Stolen, lost, mutilated or destroyed bicycle registration decal.

In the event that any bicycle registration decal issued pursuant to this section and
attached to any bicycle shall be stolen, lost, mutilated or destroyed, the person
owning the bicycle shall report the loss to the police department and shall be furnished
with a new bicycle registration decal at no cost to the owner. It shall be unlawful
for any person owning any bicycle, when the bicycle registration decal has been stolen,
lost, mutilated or destroyed, to fail to report the loss of such bicycle registration
decal to the police department within twenty-four (24) hours after the loss thereof
has been discovered.
