§ 25-6. Encroachments generally.

Where a building or other structure is discovered encroaching on a city street or alley, the city commission may authorize the maintenance of such encroachment within such limitations as it may prescribe until the building or other structure is destroyed or removed. Such limitations and the authorization of maintenance shall be embodied in a written, recordable agreement authorizing the maintenance of such encroachment executed by the owner or owners of the property encroaching, and the city.
