§ 25-11. Moving heavy equipment over streets.

No person shall move heavy machinery or other heavy objects over any public way in the city without having first obtained written permission from the city manager. Special permission must be granted to move any load, the weight of which with the vehicle exceeds six hundred (600) pounds per inch of tire, whether pneumatic or solid. Permission shall be granted if the proposed activity will not:
(1)

Injure the public ways.

(2)

Unduly obstruct the public ways.

(3)

Endanger the public safety.
