§ 16-73. Assemblies.

It shall be unlawful for any persons to stand, congregate or assemble upon any of the sidewalks or corners of the streets or in, around or about the parks or other public places or buildings in this city to the annoyance of or hindrance to the passersby. It shall be the duty of the chief of police or any other officer under his direction to order all persons violating this section to move away or disperse. Whoever neglects or refuses to obey such order shall be punished as provided for in section 1-6 of this Code.
