§ 16-51. Declaration of state of emergency.

The mayor or in the mayor's absence the city manager or the mayor's successor is hereby designated as the city official who shall be empowered to declare that a state of emergency exists within the boundaries of the municipality and to exercise the emergency powers conferred in F.S. Section 870.041—870.047.
