§ 13-54. Bonfires.

No person shall kindle, maintain or assist in maintaining any bonfire or other exposed fire within the city until a permit shall have been issued by the fire chief. Such permit shall require the permittee to maintain sufficient, safe control of the fire, to be responsible for all damages therefrom, and to completely remove or extinguish all resultant embers and ashes at the close of the fire. Such a permit will be issued if the public health and safety will not be endangered thereby.
