§ 13-1. Enforcement generally.

It shall be the duty of the fire chief or any officer or member of the fire-rescue department designated by him to strictly enforce the provisions of this chapter and any relevant or pertinent sections of this Code, to issue legal notices to correct violations, to issue citations for such violations, and to take out warrants for the arrest of violators failing to comply with any order issued pursuant to the authority of this chapter.
